I live in Cranberry Township, PA and purchased a 2013 Chevy Avalanche with 31k from Zach at College Cars Chicago in May 2018. For those of you who are considering purchasing a vehicle from an out of state dealership, please let me say that I had the same reservations in doing so like you most likely have! Well, let me tell you that Zach and College Cars Chicago are unlike any other dealership I have ever dealt with. They are a smaller dealership that has what every large dealership is missing, the attitude and desire to let the customer be the customer and not be bullied into a vehicle with typical sales tactics while providing me with space and time to examine the truck at my own pace. Zach assured me prior to my arrival that the truck was in tip-top shape. He FaceTimed me every panel, every little detail and had unbelievable patience with an out of state perspective buyer! In summary, for those of you who are from out of state, you can buy with confidence and not lose any sleep that he will sell it out from under you or that it is not as he says. For those of you who are local, if he has the vehicle you are looking for, you need to stop wasting time and just get it! As far as the Avalanche I purchased, I drove it back to PA without any issues and am looking forward to driving it for years to come. If you were interested in it and were told it was sold, I apologize for that but am thankful that Zach stayed true to me and honored our agreement, the same you would want a dealership to do for you if you were in my shoes. To call them "used" cars is misleading because each car was inspected from top to bottom with any issues addressed before being put up for sale. Because of this policy of certifying every vehicle we have never had any major problems with any car purchased from College Cars Chicago over the years. When small maintenance issues have arisen Zach has always been helpful addressing the issue and saving us money even when we did not purchase additional warranty coverage. When entering the showroom you never feel like you're being "sold" to. Questions are answered directly and honestly. I think the fact that College Cars Chicago has so many repeat customers, like us, speaks volumes about the quality of cars and service provided. When you buy a car from College Cars Chicago your relationship with the dealer does not end with the purchase. It is only beginning.

My 21-year-old daughter purchased a used vehicle from College Cars. About a year after purchase, one frigid morning her key would not turn in the ignition. I myself tried and it was definitely locked up. She called Matt at college cars. He explained the process of the warranty service, the tow and rental car agreement under the warranty. He then came to our home to check the car himself. I couldn't believe it .. he drove over to our house to see if he could fix the problem! What dealership does that? None that I know of. He did manage to get the ignition to turn and started the car, but also said it should be looked at because the ignition was still hanging up. I drive a Lexus, have full bumper to bumper warranty on it. I have had it in the dealership a couple of times for problems. Never did anyone from the dealership offer to come to my house to look at or help with the car. College cars is where my family will be purchasing all our cars from now on. Matt sold my daughter the car, but he sold me on the dealership.

We found numerous great cars, excellent pricing, and salesmen and support staff second to none. The cars were fantastic but the people were even better. Benton Harbor, MII have been buying cars for over 40 years and have had more than 30 cars in that time. I have been shopping for about 4 months when I came across College Cars on the internet. They happen to be located about 10 minutes from the house so I went to see just how and if these pictures were actually real or just more B.S. Upon my arrival I met Zack, he showed me around and let me see the car I was interested in. My first impression was damn, this place is clean. It was all in doors and every car appeared clean and polished enough to ship any minute. Zack did not push or hover over me plus he answered all my questions right there, rather than getting back to me or let me find out for your, or the famous, I have to clear that with the manager.... I even got answers to questions that normal salesman would consider trade secrets, that's when I knew I was in the right place. When I asked to test drive the car he pulled it out and told me to check out anything I needed to and to take my time. Didn't ask for a deposit, he didn't come with, he just wanted me to make sure that I was fully comfortable with my potential new car without any distractions of any kind. Just when you thought all the trust in the car world was something in the past Zack shows up with values as well as morals that I believe anyone would be lucky to deal with. A real down to earth type guy making a living to raise a family rather than trying to get rich and build an empire of cars. Because of this he sells more cars than a major dealership per month. He goes home every night knowing that he has helped people instead of making the most profit from some one's hard earned savings. A typical salesman deals with you for a few hours then forgets about you the minute you drive off. You remember him for the next 5 to 7 years, every month, and every payment. Zack on the other hand is more like a neighbor, someone that will remember your name and is not going to hide from you but rather help if he can. My entire deal took less than an hour and instead of any type of buyer’s remorse I am already planning on taking my teenage boys there for their first cars. For a feedback rating, all I can say is WOW! A major breath of fresh air and I would, scratch that, I will be recommending his place to all that ask where I got my new car.

Orland Hills, ILI am a mid-60ish guy who has bought numerous cars from local (Western New York) dealers. All of those deals were face to face as I believed that to be the only way to buy a car. See it, drive it, buy it. I was looking for a very specific, hard to find Mazda in the two year time frame that Mazda made the Mazda-Speed MX-5. After a lengthy internet search, I found the exact car at College Cars Chicago. I was absolutely abhorrent about buying a car over the internet and figured I would need to fly to Chicago, see it, drive it, buy it. I reached Zack at College Cars Chicago. This was without a doubt the best car deal I have ever been involved in. Zack sent loads of pictures, gave me an honest assessment of the car and answered every question I had. We texted, e-mailed and talked and Zack always responded immediately with full information. He completely set my mind at ease and I never needed to make the trip to Chicago. The negotiation process was clean, simple and straightforward and closed quickly. I had even greater concerns about shipping a car through any company found on the internet. Zack took care of arranging the shipping with a reputable carrier and the car showed up within two days of closing the deal.
We had the inevitable SNAFU that comes up in every deal. We agreed to have Zack arrange to have the title overnighted to me as I was leaving on a trip. Unfortunately, FEDEX lost the title. Zack really stepped up, got an expedited revised title from the State of Illinois and had it to me 3 days later. I have never seen such service from any dealer ever. Period. College Cars Chicago has a great little business model and a couple of great guys that make this all work. It’s a five star place, especially for an internet, long distance deal.
